Neighborhood Rocks Choir Rehearsals
10 weeks, Sundays starting September 26
We’re taking a cautious, well-prepared approach to singing together this season. Our rehearsals will be on Sunday afternoons, alternating weekly between outdoors (socially-distanced, with live streaming option) and Zoom rehearsals online.
Please note: we have to change the time of rehearsals to accommodate singing during daylight hours (especially during DST).
Socially-Distanced Group Singing (every other week)
Zoom Rehearsals (every other week)

Socially-Distanced Group Singing (every other week)
- Outdoor rehearsals live streamed for members who do not attend in person
- Staggered small-group sessions (30 people max.)
- Rehearsal time limited to 1 hour
- Members of each household seated together
- 10 ft. markers placed, delineating safe seating zones
- Face masks required at all times
- Music distributed digitally before rehearsal or learned by rote
- 2-part harmony singing to counterbalance lack of acoustics
- Leaders will be amplified (voice & accompaniment)
Zoom Rehearsals (every other week)
- All singers join together (no small groups)
- 1 hour rehearsal 2:30-3:30
- Households requested to join in on one device
